Description
We are seeking experienced Electrical and Mechanical Technicians for a reputed project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and diesel generators in accordance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical expertise, hands-on experience, and a commitment to safe working practices.
Responsibilities
General Responsibilities
- Execute electrical and mechanical works according to approved drawings and specifications
- Follow all health, safety, and quality regulations on-site
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Maintain work records, inspection reports, and test results
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and team members
- Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and correctly
Electrical Technicians
- LV/MV/HV cable laying, jointing, and termination
- Installation of transformers, RMUs, mini pillars, and electrical panels
- Meter installation, testing, and commissioning
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Conduct testing and commissioning activities
Diesel Generator Technicians
- Installation, testing, and commissioning of diesel generators (100 KVA – 2000 KVA)
- Mechanical overhauls, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Electrical systems testing including AVR, governors, stator/rotor systems
- ATS installation, load testing, and controller configuration
- Ensure generators operate efficiently and reliably
Qualifications
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in industrial or large-scale projects
- Strong understanding of international safety and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
